| Notes | Folio broadsides are filed separately in different drawers in the broadside cabinets. Folios are placed side-by-side in a drawer, with the folded edge to the left. Double folios are placed with the folded edge towards to outside. Elephant folios have larger drawers than the double folios and are also placed with the foled edge on the outside.
Legal sized folders are stored in hollinger boxes. Broadsides in the YCAL and YCGL collections use the same Year/Number call number format as broadsides in the general collection and are marked in exactly the same way. Remember to put the correct location codes in the Orbis records. |

| Notes | Large and small folio broadsides are interfiled in the broadside cabinets; this explains why they use the same call number format. If two small folios are placed side-by-side in a drawer, they occupy approximately the same amount of space as does one large folio; this shelving arrangement explains why the folders for large folios are marked in a different place than those for small folios.
