Zc62 – Sacred books.

  • Use for copies of the sacred books of Mormonism including Mormon editions of the Bible
  • All sacred works of Mormonism are classed here regardless of issuing body
  • Arrange by title of work, with modifications to take care of editions, translations, criticism, etc.
  • The second line is a cutter for the specific sacred book followed by letter for translations, paraphrases, indexes, or criticism
  • For critical works of other sacred books add “y” to the cutter, followed by a third line of a three-digit date of the first edition followed by the first two letters of the main entry.
