The size boundaries are:

up to 23 cm wide
Quarto:
between 26 and 37 cm high

Marking

The following guidelines are used when marking volumes

  1. Mark on Yale bookplate when there is one, generally in the upper left corner.
  2. When there is no Yale bookplate, mark on last page, lower right hand corner. The lower left hand corner is the alternate location when the lower right hand corner is unusable.
  3. If the last page is unmarkable (e.g. too dark or shiny or filled with text or illustrations), mark the verso of the first usable page from the end.

Classification

Nazraeli Press is classed as a name collection with sequential numbering.

Octavo ‡b beingen ‡h Nazraeli Press ‡i 8
Quarto ‡b beingen ‡h Nazraeli Press ‡i +3
Folio ‡b beingen ‡h Nazraeli Press ‡i Folio 2

Serial call numbers are created by adding an “S” before the number, as with Year/Number call numbers.

Monographic series

Some monographic series can be classed together using a serial call number. If this decision has been made to class a monographic series together, the 646 field in the Series Authority Record in Voyager may need to be updated, and a 090 field will need to be added. If the 646 field is coded ‘s’, append to the field: c ‡5CtY-BR. Add an 090 field of the SAR with the call number and ‡5CtY-BR.Use 490/830 fields for the series name in the bibliographic records. For convenience, the list below will be updated as additional class-together monographic series are aquired.
